It seems as though our sickly snot-machine is much better. One day she was sluggish and miserable, the next day, she's bouncing off the walls and frolicking like nothing ever happened to her. Aside from the lingering running nose, I guess her illness has passed. Jin likes to say that she has inherited his Wolverine-like ability to heal.
Some concerns with Bella being so mobile is that she will flip herself right off the couch, or tumble down the stairs backwards. We've considered these ill-fated scenarios and have decided to proactively train her to avoid such circumstances.
For instance, Bella loves jumping up and down on the couch. But when she's through and ready to move on, she always yelps for assistance to get down. So we trained her early on to slide off the couch on her belly, feet-first. We taught her to move one leg at a time off the couch, then showed her how to slowly shimmy herself off the ledge on her belly using her arms/hands to control the speed of her descent until her feet hit the floor. Of course, we were always behind her with our hands ready to harness her body in case she lost control. Any successful attempts were always followed by a cacophony of applause and cheers (for positive reinforcement). 
Just when we thought our training was for naught, one day Bella surprised me by performing her own version of couch-climbing. Instead of sliding off the seat section of the couch as we taught her, she went to the side armrest, and using her hands to grip, she swung her legs, one at a time, off the side, until she hit the floor! She landed so gracefully on her feet that you would have never known she was a novice!
Beginner's Luck, I thought. But sure enough, the next time she was on the couch and wanted down, she moved to the side and tumbled gracefully off in the same manner. Hmmmm... Perhaps we have a Mary Lou Retton in our midst...
