I thought Bella was still young enough to believe in the magic of Christmas, but I knew we had to try extra hard this year to keep up the charade after she started questioning how Santa fit through the chimney and wondered how he had time to deliver all the gifts overnight. So, we set out milk and cookies and wrote a note to Santa. But the kicker was the personalized video from Santa compliments of Portable North Pole:
It even showed pictures of Bella and displayed a picture of her top toy pick of the season, a Unicorn Pillow Pet. Seeing her eyes light up while she watched the video was absolutely priceless!
And the season was no less magical for little Miss Maddie Mae. She knew something was up when she descending the steps to the grand spectacle below!
Both kids eagerly shredded through presents like mulch machines and quickly decided upon favorite toys to play with:

Poor Maddie has had few new toys of her own so it was nice to see her so excited about different toys that she can really call her own.
Grandma and Grandpa bought Legos for Bella. We thought the assembly time would buy us at least a few days, but with her diligence and patience, Bella completed all three lego homes in one day!
