Mommy and Daddy are writing to you from our final destination, Lake Como, or in Italian, Lago di Como. The weather is a bit overcast, but it's not rainy so Dad and I explored the many towns along the lake.
We stayed in the little town of Tremezzo and visited the Villa Carlotta, which was a beautiful garden with many cool flowers and trails that led to breathtaking views of the lake. Here are a few of these great views.
Then we took the ferry boat across the lake to the local village of Varenna where we had lunch and yummy gelato. We found an old stone path that led up the hill. After hiking up the hill for nearly 30 minutes, we finally arrived at an old abandoned castle. It was really cool to see, but unfortunately, we were not allowed to go inside.
The best part of the Lake was going to the different towns, like Bellagio and Menaggio. All of them had a different feel and all of them had a beautiful view of the lake.
