This year we discovered a nearby ice rink where the girls could have their first skating experience. It was by no means cold enough to sustain a real ice rink; temperatures were in the mid fifties so the ice was artificially made from an ice machine. Kids were coat-less, some even wore shorts but it was still a great experience. Bella and Maddie had their first try on the ice, and after a few laps around the rink, the girls were really enjoying themselves. Jin even surprised us with his hidden ice skating talents before admitting that he played ice hockey when he was younger. How did I not know that about him? :/?
