I accidentally made an extra pediatrician's appointment for Bella today. Even though we didn't need to bring her in until she was 2 months old, we were glad to make the extra trip because we finally were seen by the pediatrician that we originally requested, Dr. Kai Kai Lam.

We chose Dr. Lam because she was young and asian. Most importantly, she was just returning from maternity leave which meant that she had fresh experience taking care of a little one of her own.

Jin and I made a bet on how much Bella would weigh at her appointment. She was eating like a ravenous pig the past few days so I was sure that she had broken the 9 pound mark.

Hmmmm... her thighs don't look as big as they do in real life. Doesn't the camera add 10 pounds?

At the appointment, she weighed in at 9 pounds and 11 ounces, 22 inches. That's more than 2 pounds in the last month! Wow! She's growing like a little flower!
